May 25th. is not a common national holiday, a day when you don’t work or go to school. On this date we celebrate one of the most important events which constitute the foundation on which our country was built. During May Revolution (La Revolución de Mayo) the future of a colony- which wanted to grow and develop as an independent country was at stake.We then celebrate May 25th. as the day when a group of patriots enlightened the way towards Independence.
